Our "Lights Out" Process
"Lights Out" is a term used in the computer and data processing industry for processes that do not require human intervention.
DFS has developed a system that allows customers to post data files to an FTP site. Any special requests are identified, and files begin processing automatically through our "PlanetWatch" system. Once data has been processed, control totals and samples are emailed back to customer for approval and a work order is generated. This process takes only minutes.
